A freelance journalist from the newspaper “Fact” Narek Mirzoyan said that during the protest in Jermuk, staff from the company “Lydian Armenia” pushed, insulted and threatened him. “I told police that an incident took place, but they did not take any actions on-site”. On the same day, the journalist was informed that “Lydian Armenia” would formally request investigative authorities file a criminal case against him. “Lydian Armenia” blamed Mirzoyan for instigating protests against the company.
