On April 18, Narek Kirakosyan, a correspondent from the newspaper “Haykakan zhamanak” was chased at the direction of Hunan Poghosyan, the First Deputy Chief of Police, for taking a photo of armored equipment on Baghramyan Avenue. The policeman did not manage to reach and catch the journalist. During the pre-investigation for the criminal case investigated under Articles 164.3, 308.1 and 309.2 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, a decision was made to recognise Narek Kirakosyan as a victim.
