On April 22, in Yerevan's Republic Square, a police officer in a black mask attacked Naira Boulghadaryan, a journalist from Radio Liberty, hitting her on the hand to knock the camera and stop her from filming. The live stream showed policemen running and the journalist’s camera falling on the ground. During the initial investigation of the criminal case under Articles 164.3, 308.1 and 309.2 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, a decision was made to recognise Naira Boulghadaryan as a victim.
