On 4th October, a representative of the Bagat district department of internal affairs in the Khorezm region told journalists that Nafosat (Shabnam) Olloshukurova, the journalist previously sentenced to 10 days imprisonment, was now in the regional neuropsychiatric clinic with a diagnosis of "panic disorder". The decision on urgent forced hospitalisation could only be made with the approval of the prosecutor.
