The Qamshy.kz news agency of Almaty has reported the detention of the agency's journalist, Miyat Kashibay. According to the editorial board, a group of independent observers who had gathered after the elections on June 10th at 6pm were taken away by police. Miyat Kashibai, the site's journalist, was among the group. He showed his official ID, but the police did not respond to this.
