In Aktobe, unidentifed men attacked journalists at the funeral of an Aktobe resident who was shot dead by police during a hostage-freeing operation. A cameran for the TV channel "Kazakhstan-Aktobe" was also attacked. According to Yernur Burakhan, director of the channel, the videographer was knocked to the ground and beaten and his camera was broken. Aliya Orazai, a journalist for the channel, was also threatened.
