Mirbek Aitikeyev, journalist and member of the political council of the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan, lives with his family in Sweden. This became known from his own sources. How and when he left Kyrgyzstan is unknown. State authorities have not yet confirmed this information. After the events in Koi-Tash on August 7th-8th, it was reported that Aitikeyev had been detained, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs denied this information, stating that he was not even called for questioning.
