Journalist Maxim Novikov wrote on Facebook that two men attacked him outside his house in the centre of Tver. According to "Drugaya Tver” (The Other Tver), the attack took place on September 19 at 21:00 on Pereulok Trudolyubiya. Two men with a "sporting physique" hit Novikov on the head as he was leaving. They then sprayed pepper spray in his face.
