On January 30, the Armenian service of RFE/RL, along with many other media organisations, reported that editorial staff of Medialab.am had received serious threats from a Facebook user. The individual hinted that Medialab.am could suffer the fate of Charlie Hebdo, the French magazine targeted by a terrorist attack in January 2015.
