Lukpan Akhmedyarov, editor-in-chief of Uralsk Week, and three of his colleagues, journalist Raul Uporov and cameramen, were detained at Abai Square in central Uralsk. "When I started taking pictures of the police and people in camouflage uniforms detaining people, two police officers twisted my arms and took me to a prison truck. They let me go three hours later," the journalist says.
