Khabar 24 correspondent Katerina Popkova, together with TV cameraman Nurmakhan Musatov, arrived at the Shymkent Cancer Centre on September 24th to record an interview with Deputy Chief Medical Officer Zhaksylyk Maulenov. The security guard of the centre did not want to allow the cameraman inside. He forbade him to film in the building and started pushing Nurmakhan Musatov. The journalists told the guard that he was violating the law by his actions, and warned the man that they would inform the management of the cancer centre about his behavior. After that, the man calmed down and allowed the journalists to go to the doctor's office.
