The mother of the journalist from the party newspaper "Najot" died of a heart attack after being summoned for questioning to the Dangara branch of the State Committee for National Security. The funeral was conducted under the watch of officers from the Committee, and all relatives had their phones confiscated on that day so that no-one took any pictures. Junaidullo himself received political asylum in Europe. This was reported by the press service of the Islamic Renaissance Party.
