Ismail Islamoglu, an employee of the internet TV channel "Kanal13.tv" was held by police for 3 days. In this period he was not allowed contact with his relatives. After his release the journalist said that he had been held in the Baku city police headquarters and that because of his reporting on social media, for hours he was denied food and water, kept on his knees, and subjected to beating, insults and threats. Prior to his detainment the journalist had written critical statuses about the music festival "Zhara" in Baku.
