On May 5, while covering the “On nam ne tsar’!” (He is not our Tsar) rallies, the following were detained in Moscow – Mikhail Grebenshchikov (photographer for Novaya Gazeta), Alexey Aleksandrov (Current Time TV correspondent), Oksana Gandziuk (TV Rain producer), Ilya Gorshkov (TV Rain reporter), Alexandra Antyufeeva (Daily Storm photographer), Zosya Rodkevich (Radio Liberty journalist), and Irina Yatsenko, a correspondent for “Za Prava Cheloveka” (For Human Rights).
