The editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Novye Kolyosa” (New Wheels) Igor Rudnikov is accused of extorting 50,000 dollars from the head of the regional bureau of investigation Viktor Ledenyov. He was detained by police on November 3 and arrested by the court until January 1. Later, Rudnikov, who was in a pre-trial detention centre, was the subject of several more arrests.
