On March 7, the chairman of the Armenian parliamentary standing committee on defence and security Andranik Kocharyan filed a lawsuit to the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the newspaper "Hraparak", seeking a public apology and retraction of allegedly defamatory and insulting statements, and compensation of AMD 1 million. The lawsuit was accepted into court proceedings on March 21.
