Lawyers for the "Caucasian Knot" checked the Instagram post of the chairman of the Chechen parliament Magomed Daudov for a crime under Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Interference in the legitimate professional activities of journalists"). The editor-in-chief of the publication Grigory Shvedov said "My name and surname are not mentioned in the post, but it is written so that the reader has not doubt about who it is … We are receptive to criticism. When it appears, we double-check our sources. However, this is perhaps the first time that instead of professional criticism for specific publications, we see a call to violence."
