Giorgi Sakaruli, a journalist from the newspaper Kronika+, was attacked, after a video appeared on social media, depicting a member of parliament for the ruling Georgian Dream party Tsotne Zurabiani dancing in the restaurant "Alagi". The journalist was grabbed by workers at the restaurant in a nearby bar then demanded that he take the video off the internet, searched him, beat him up and took his phone. According to doctors, the journalist suffered a closed head injury, a type of traumatic brain injury.
