On the 19th of May the Chief Editor of the publication presa.ge and founder of online television channel iTV Giorgi Kapanadze was detained in Zugdidi while filming special equipment in a vehicle belonging to Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs - the car had tear gas, batons and bulletproof vests. Kapanadze was detained for disobeying the police and petty criminality under Articles 166 and 173 of the administrative code.
