In her absence, police planned to open the apartment of “Novaya Gazeta” special correspondent Elena Kostyuchenko. According to Kostyuchenko, the precinct said that her flat has to be opened since a “crime was committed at the entrance”. The journalist herself was on a business trip. The apartment was carefully inspected in the presence of a lawyer.
