Eduard Shmonin, editor-in-chief of “OTV-Yugra”, issued an open statement in which he spoke of threats made against him by security forces. "One of them approached me, came up close, and made threats in a low voice, effectively saying that either I leave the city for good soon, or they will plant drugs or weapons on me" the statement said. The incident occurred during a search of his apartment, which was held on February 12, 2017.
