The Sovetsky District Court in Ulan-Ude arrested blogger Dmitry Bayirov for five days after being detained at a spontaneous rally demanding the cancellation of election results. The blogger was found guilty of violating rules on public gatherings (Article 20.2 of the Code on Administrative Offences).
