On March 6th, the trial against Dinara Bekbolaeva, a correspondent of the internet portal Ratel.kz, began in the Abai District Court of Shymkent. The private complaint was filed in court by the ead of the community association "Youth Union", Suyun Abdullaev. He believes that in the article "Did the South Kazakhstan region pay for the trolling of Gabidullah Abdrakhimov?" (Ratel.kz, 14th November 2017) the journalist spread slander about him (Article 130 of the Criminal Code).
