Denis Mikhnev, a freelance correspondent for “Kavkaz Post”, was attacked while filming by a group of young people at Polling Station 138 in Karachayevsk, Karachay-Cherkess Republic. According to the journalist, he tried to film what was happening at the polling station, but despite his accreditation, he was barred from doing so. His documents were taken, and he was shouted at and pushed out – they even tried to strangle him.
