On November 22, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan filed a lawsuit to the Ararat and Vayots Dzor province courts of general jurisdiction against Boris Tamoyan, the editor of “politik.am”, seeking a public retraction of allegedly slanderous statements and compensation for damage caused to his honour and dignity. On November 26, Tigran Avinyan’s claim was taken to court proceedings.
