On February 28th, the Taldykorgan City Court found Bolatkhan Zhunusov, a 68-year-old resident of the Almaty region, guilty of participating in the activities of a banned organisation (Article 405 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan). The prosecutor asked the court to sentence Zhunusov to a year of restriction of freedom, saying in the debate that the defendant's guilt is fully proven.
