On April 20th, the Specialised Inter-District Administrative Court of Astana placed activist Bolatbek Blyalov under administrative arrest for 15 days for violating the law on organizing and holding peaceful assemblies, rallies, marches, pickets and demonstrations (article 488, part 3 of the Code of Administrative Crimes of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
