It became known that at the initiative of the Prosecutor General's Office, a criminal case was opened against the well-known lawyer Bauyrzhan Azanov. On July 24th, he was summoned for questioning in the Astana Police Department. Azanov is accused of "spreading false information" in connection with his participation in a high-profile case of possible repeated rape of a boy from the South Kazakhstan region.
