On February 27th, police detained blogger Askhat Bersalimov in Almaty near the office of the party "Radiant Fatherland". He was broadcasting live from the scene of an alleged rally in Almaty. According to the blogger, he was taken three times for examination for alcohol or drug use. The results were clean, after which Bersalimov was charged with "disobedience" to the police.
