On March 16th, Askar Shaigumarov, a video blogger from Uralsk, was taken to the Interior Ministry of the West Kazakhstan region, where, according to him, the assistant prosecutor of the region and a representative of the regional department of internal policy conducted explanatory work with him regarding the unregistered movement "Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan." The blogger was asked to write an explanatory note, but he refused. As a result, he was handed the paper "Explaining the Law" signed by the deputy prosecutor of the region, Tazhiden Naimanov.
