On March 15th, Ardik Ashim was detained on suspicion of inciting national, religious and social discord (Article 174 of the Criminal Code). On March 27th, a judge of the Abai District Court in Shymkent ordered that she be placed in a psychoneurological dispensary for compulsory treatment for one month.
