The Petrograd District Court in St. Petersburg sentenced blogger and Tver resident Anatoly Pleshanov to a year-long suspended sentence and a year of probation for a post on Russian social media network VK, in which he raised concerns about social support for refugees from Ukraine. Pleshanov was found guilty under Section 1 Article 282 of the Criminal Code ("Incitement of hatred or hostility").
