A Moscow-based employee of the government-controlled TV channel "Lider", Anar Gasanov, was fired without any explanation. The day before he was fired, the journalist asked a question to Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov about regulation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. This question caused a stir in political circles.
