On December 11th at 3pm, a hearing on the new charge of defamation and insult against journalist Amangeldy Babebekov is scheduled to begin in Saryagash District Court. The plaintiff in this case is Leila Darkhanbaeva. In her statement, she calls herself a professional mediator and the chairman of the public association Zangar-Medet and accuses A. Batyrbekov, as well as his wife Gulzada Baymuratova, Pazilkhan Tuimebaev, Gulshan Artykbaeva, Mustafin Baidullaev and Kudret Yerzepbaev of slander and insult. The defendants, in her opinion, committed these crimes through posts on Facebook.
