In St. Petersburg a reporter for "Izvestia" was attacked while filming. Journalist Alexey Chechyotkin and a camera crew were filming a report about begging at Moskovsky railway station. Journalists noticed a girl who had been allegedly collecting money for a ticket for several months. Those defending the girl’s business did not appreciate the journalists’ attention. An unknown person approached Chechyotkin, began to threaten him, and then punched him in the face.
