The judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Saratov Alexey Belov sentenced the 20-year-old Ukrainian blogger Alexander Gozenko to 160 hours of mandatory work, declaring him guilty of "degrading human dignity on grounds of the Russian ethnicity, and referring to a group of people as vata/vatnik". Until the sentence comes into force, the convict remains under house arrest.
