Journalist Aitaj Akmhedova, an employee of "Meydan TV" which broadcasts from Germany, was subjected to violence while conducting professional activities. In the course of gathering material from a protest by a group of citizens, the journalist was taken to a police station in a region of Baku. At the station, a policeman in plain clothes hit the journalist over the head. She reported the incident to the prosecutor's office for an investigation, but this was never done to her satisfaction.
