On the 28th of October the television channels Imedi and Maestro stopped broadcasting after hackers attacked. Earlier, cyber attacks were carried out against the Georgian presidential administration's website, as well as the websites of various governmental and non-governmental organisations. The Ministry of Internal Affairs opened an investigation into the attacks under Article 284 and Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
