The former head of the inline police department at Semey station, Erik Battalov, filed a claim to the Almaty District Court of Nur Sultan to protect his honour, dignity and business reputation. Information about the insulting and beating of doctors by the chiefs of the inline police department was found to be untrue, denigrating Battalov's honour, dignity and business reputation, and subject to refutation within seven days of the ruling's entry into legal force. The defendants must also pay the policeman 100,000 tenge in compensation for moral harm.
