On June 12th, the Specialised Inter-District Economic Court in Almaty initiated civil proceedings to protect Tengri Bank's business reputation against Total Media Kazakhstan LLP. On the same day, the court granted the plaintiff's application for measures to enforce the claim, prohibiting the information resource from publishing information about the bank, except for a refutation and response from Tengri Bank, until the court ruled on the lawsuit, as well as to close access to the site's readers to the article "Did the commercial bank fund the "I woke up" challenge?" During the trial, the parties entered into a peace agreement, and on June 28th, the economic court ruled that the proceedings on the claim would be halted. Also on June 28th, the court ruled that the measures to enforce the claim would be overturned.
