On August 16th, the appeals panel of the Almaty City Court upheld the decision of the Bostandy District Court of Almaty, which was handed down in Alisher Nurzhanov's lawsuit against Internet Portal Nur. According to Nurzhanov, an article published by the Internet portal violated the integrity of his private life and family secrets. On May 4th, the trial court refused to satisfy Alisher Nurzhanov's claims in full on the grounds that the plaintiff's party did not provide evidence of obtaining photographic materials by legal means.
