On February 5th, the court's verdict on the claim for the protection of the honour, dignity and compensation for moral harm of Aktobe resident Saltanat Sovietkyzy against the editorial office of the newspaper "Bandaly" came into force. The plaintiff demanded to remove publications from the outlet's website and to collect from the editorial office 2 million tenge to compensate for moral harm. During the hearings on the lawsuit, the court was presented with a legally enforced verdict on S. Sovietkazy being found guilty. The Court found that the plaintiff's arguments were not sufficient to satisfy the claim for compensation for moral harm.
