Ruslan Izmaylov, mayor of the Baimyrzin Rural District, filed a lawsuit to protect his honour, dignity, business reputation and moral damage against 22 residents of the same rural district and the TV channel KTK. On January 8th, the plaintiff withdrew its claims against the TV channel, and the court ruled that they should be left without consideration.
