On 11th January, the judge of the Medeu District Court of Almaty, T. Zhumamuratov, in support of the lawsuit filed by the former Minister of Finance and State Revenue, Z. Kakimzhanov and his son I. Kakimzhanov, ruled that the defendants - online media outlets Ratel.kz and Forbes.kz - were forbidden from covering the trial in the media and on social networks, commenting on the trial to other media and contacting other media.
