On February 9th, the editorial board of the Uralsk Week newspaper received a letter from the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the West Kazakhstan region demanding a refutation of published information. The press service claims that a video message from D. Romanov carries inaccurate information. "In this regard, we ask you to remove this video as it is unconfirmed by objective data, and to make clarifications and adjustments on this fact, as this video unnecessarily causes a negative reaction from the readers of your publication against the police," the complaint reads.
