On 3rd April 3 at 10 am, the first public meeting of the new mayor of Akmola region, Malik Murzalin, with the media was held at the Akmola Regional Mayor's Office. At the entrance to the building, the police carefully checked the invited journalists with a metal detector, and then asked them to hand over all electronic devices. Journalists tried to refer to the law on mass media, but the guards were adamant. As a result, the press handed over to the police all mobile devices that could be used as audio, photo or video recording devices.
