In St. Petersburg, the film crew of the local “Vesti” programme was attacked by the guards of Liteyny Bridge, according to GTRK St. Petersburg. Journalists were filming a report about a test of the crossing’s electrical wiring. Artyom Potar, a correspondent for GTRK St. Petersburg, said: "They started telling us that they could detain us for three hours, started threatening us with handcuffs and grabbing the camera. One of them even clung to the camera. The cameraman reacted, telling him to get his hands off the camera. I asked for them to introduce themselves, and was told in response "Alexander Pushkin", and hit in the face. I had a tripod in my hands and tried to dodge, but the punch still hit my cheekbone.”
