On May 15, 2017, it was revealed that a 20-year-old Muslim blogger had been sentenced in Yaroslavl Oblast. The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred), and he was sentenced to a two-year suspended sentence, with a probationary period of two years.
