On March 7, “Mikshin” Ltd filed a lawsuit to the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction (in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district) against “Zhoghovurd newspaper editorial” Ltd, seeking a retraction of allegedly slanderous statements and AMD 2 million in compensation. After a few court hearings, the claim was rejected on August 2. The court said that the circumstances mentioned by the claimant were not substantiated by evidence, and the journalist acted according to the principle of pluralism.
