On February 16, Manoushak Mkrtchyan filed a lawsuit to the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction (the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts) against the television company “Kentron” and D. Tovmasyan, an investigator for the Abovyan city investigative unit of the Armenian investigative committee. The plaintiff demanded that the claimant publicly retract allegedly defamatory statements damaging her honour and dignity. On March 16 it was taken to court proceedings. A court session took place on June 11, and on September 26 the court decided to close the case.
